vijay hails from wisconsin and graduated from cal a couple years ago. upon graduation, he had stayed in berkeley, working in san francisco. this fall, he’ll be packing his bags and moving back to wisconsin to start a ph.d program in public health. before his departure, he asked me to take some photos of him on campus.
we walked around the school one afternoon, stopping and taking photos in front of some of his favorite spots. here are my favorites from his shoot!
the main library…i love the columns!
i love this expression:
i told him to pose with his backpack, because he’d look more like a student! 🙂
this is one of my favorite buildings on campus…UC berkeley has such amazing architecture.
couldn’t resist a jumping shot!!! LOVE this one!
the following were shot at another one of my favorite buildings. neither of us knows what it’s used for, but it was pointed out to me during a previous shoot. there’s lots of interesting texture here, and the most amazing mosaics!
this one just might be my favorite from vijay’s shoot:
with a friend at sather gate!
i thought all the fliers and such made an interesting background:
“reading” the daily cal…
i had lots of fun touring the campus with you, vijay!! good luck in grad school, and be sure to come back and visit the bay area! 🙂
also – today is vijay’s birthday, so wish him a happy one!
