paige is fabulously creative, authors a super awesome blog (one of my favorite reads), and is an awesomely talented scrapbooker. in fact, she’s on the editorial staff at northridge media, publisher of scrapbook trends magazine, which has published lots of my own creations over the years. she’s always been the one sending me my acceptance emails!
paige also makes a super cute pregnant chick. seriously, can she BE any more adorable? she’s giving birth to a baby boy in october and has the cutest little bump. i was so excited to be able to do a session of her and her belly while i was down in so-cal. we had fun prancing through union station and olvera street in downtown LA. i’ve always thought that both of these places would be awesome locations for a shoot, and was happy when paige agreed to do her shoot there! i love the charm of union station, and i love the vibrancy of olvera street.
paige was up for anything i suggested…even when it meant that people would just randomly stop, stare and observe. she rocked the session like a pro, though! and there are tons of fabulous photos to share.
this is around the time when people first started staring at us, hee.
…but she went along with my crazy ideas – like making her lie down on the fountain while people stared- anyway…
speaking of the fountain, that tile?! is super AWESOME.
the vintage look with this setting? perfection!
i loved all the tile around the station. lots of awesome tile mosaics!
i always thought this waiting area would make for some awesome photos. combined with the vintage look?! perfection!
oooh yes, the cliche belly heart shot. had to do it 😉
banners are a huge trend in the scrapbooking industry, and also the decorating community. they’re EVERYWHERE. so when we spotted these at olvera street, i knew we’d have to work them into the shoot somehow…
a play on the heart on belly shots. made with scrapbook supplies 🙂
thanks, paige! i better see some of these photos in scrapbook trends!
